The Incubation of a God Dream

I really like the word incubation. It speaks to warmth, and intimacy. The bond between a mother and her unborn baby is indescribable. You become pregnant, suddenly you are thrusted into an all consuming love for a person that is literally connected to your very being. It’s an amazing process that only God could have created. The birth of a beautiful baby is life changing in the most incredible way. But any woman who has been pregnant will tell you that the beauty of it all comes in stages. Much of the time throughout pregnancy is actually quite gross, I’ll spare you the details. Regardless of how the mother feels, whether disgusted or beautiful, she has to go through the entire process successfully to deliver a healthy baby. The natural birthing process is a representation of the birthing process in the spirit. In order to successfully birth the dreams that God has given to us, we must first endure the process. It is challenging, it is hard, sometimes it can be painful. But we must endure to see our dreams come to life. Let’s chat about The Incubation of a God Dream.

Incubation – The process of keeping something at the right temperature and in the right conditions so it can develop to maturity.

Now think about that definition for a moment and consider how many things you have kept incubated throughout your life. Dreams, plans, goals, ideas, gifts and talents; all of these things required to be kept in just the right condition and should only be exposed at the right time. Otherwise what we are trying to accomplish will be revealed prematurely, resulting in an aborted or miscarried assignment. I was born 2 pounds 14 ounces in the beginning of my mother’s 6th month of pregnancy. So I was literally a premature baby who was placed inside of an incubator directly after birth. I am a walking miracle to say the least. The Lord saw fit to allow me to come here early but still he kept me until I was able to be released out into the world. First I was incubated in my mother’s womb. After birth I was kept in an actual incubator before being released into the hospital room. Once I was ready, I was able to be taken home to be incubated and cared for by my parents in our home. As it was with my birth, so it is with all things that God has placed inside of us. We must be covered, shielded and protected from all of the impurities of the world that might cause damage or injury to the health of what we carry.

Can you pinpoint the dreams inside of you that have been kept in just the precise conditions needed for them to mature? Perhaps you are incubating some “spiritual babies” right now. You might ask what is exactly is a spiritual baby? That’s just a little term I use to describe dreams that God has designed for us to discover and bring to life. Picture an egg for a moment. You know that the egg has an outer shell. It has an inner membrane known as the white, which houses the yolk. God impregnates us with a dream (yolk). He incubates the dream in our hearts (white), and the dream is kept inside of us (shell) until it is ready to be released into the world around us. A simple description of an egg is a perfect representation of the incubation process that we must go through to birth the God given dreams that are inside of us. The best way to ensure that we are successful is to keep ourselves clean from the impurities of the world. We must continually study and obey the word of God, it is our foundation and our protection.

“But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you [setting you on a firm foundation] and will protect and guard you from the evil one.”
‭‭2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3:3‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, descendant of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, for the Child who has been conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭1:20‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Rejoice in the Lord and know that anything he has given to you will be birthed in due time. The process of keeping what you carry until full maturity can be challenging. But it will keep you safe as you wait for it to manifest. Trust in the Lord and know that he will never go against himself. If you gives you a dream he will see that it comes to pass in your life. I pray that this post was a blessing to you. Thank you for taking the time to chat with me today. I look forward to our next discussion. Until our next chat, be blessed. ❤️

Silence Can Protect you as you Wait for God.

I recently found myself under spiritual attack. The Holy Spirit had been nudging me about what was coming but I wasn’t sure of how to respond. Before I knew it I was thrusted into making a major decision that I honestly was not prepared to make at the time. Confusion set in as I evaluated my circumstance. Trying to make sense of it all, I prayed about it. I also asked for advice from those I trust. Not long after, God began to reveal to me what was taking place in the spirit. So I took a step back to see clearly what it was that the Lord was trying to show me about my situation. I felt it would be beneficial to let others know by bringing some light to what happened and why. My hope is that others will avoid the red flags by taking heed to the warning signs. So let’s chat about how your Silence Can Protect you as you Wait for God.

Maybe you’ve heard or maybe you haven’t but we’re in a new year. Yes finally 2021 has come and I’m sure we can all agree that getting here was a significant challenge. 2020 handed us so many curve balls that we just couldn’t quite keep up. Looking back at the year, most probably focused their attention on COVID-19, political injustice and all of the turmoil that we’ve seen in the media. But I challenge you to consider that we lost much more in this past year than what most have been focused on. That’s not to take anything away from the millions of people who have suffered and lost loved ones to that horrible disease! I myself lost several family members to covid in 2020 and it was such a tragedy. But I’m not talking about the loss of physical lives, businesses and finances, although all of those things DO matter tremendously. I’m speaking of other losses that we may have never considered due to all of the chaos we see going on around us.

The truth is that 2020 was a year of death to more than just lives. It was a year of death to all things old! It was a year that forced all of us to face ourselves with nowhere else to run. We had to sit down and take a very hard look into the mirror of our own souls and evaluate if we really liked what we saw. The losses of last year looked a bit different for everyone but I’m certain we all loss something! Personally, I loss some of the most valuable friendships and relationships of my life. Mostly because all of these relationships were out of season. The busyness that we all consumed ourselves with daily came to a screeching halt. We had to choose how we were going to go about our day instead of having someone else plan it for us. We had to look at how much time we had been wasting on everyone and everything else instead of spending quality time with God, our immediate family members and even with ourselves.

We loss our comfort, we loss our ability to push away those parts of ourselves that we don’t like to face. We loss our control. Then we found what matters most. We found that we cared more about each other than we realized. We found that we needed to love ourselves more. And that we needed to take better care of our physical and mental health.

When I began this discussion I told you that recently I found myself under spiritual attack. The reason why I mentioned that is because shortly before going into the new year is when it started. We have not only come into a new year and new season, but we have also entered into a new era. The enemy knows this and he recognizes that God is now manifesting promises in the lives of his children. He also knows that he can no longer hold us back from what God releasing to us and he is getting nervous! So he’s doing all that he can to distract us, discourage us and he’s trying to cause us to retreat! The enemy knows that he cannot cause us to go back into the chaos and turmoil of the last season, so he’s attempting to cause us to stop ourselves from going forward into the new place with Christ.

So I noticed that over the past couple of weeks the Lord had been warning me in my spirit of something. For one week I couldn’t sleep, I literally kept waking up from a shaking in my bed. Then I began noticing subtle signs of issues in one of my close personal relationships. Before I knew it, confusion and discouragement began to set in. I had to pray and ask God to break it off immediately and to help me to endure with patience and praise! Now I can clearly see that one of the major things that I did wrong over the past few weeks is that I spoke about what promises I was waiting on God for. Let me repeat that. I started talking with others about what God is doing in my life right now and suddenly all hell broke loose mentally and emotionally! No physical changes occurred at all, but suddenly I was struggling in areas that I previously wasn’t. Now looking back I see that when I released what God was doing to the wrong individuals, satan started attacking in those very areas where God is blessing me and increasing my territory. I knew that I had to help you see how important this lesson was so that you can avoid it or detect it early.

So take a look at your life right now and be sure to terminate any place where you may have given the enemy ammunition against what God has promised you. Do not allow him to steal what you have so patiently suffered for. Stand strong in the Lord and know that whatever you are waiting on God to produce in your life during this new season is exactly what you will have in due time! God’s words are never void and his ways do not change! He will do what he says he will do, but we must trust him and wait silently for all that he has spoken. I pray that the blood of Jesus will cover you and your loved ones. May his shield protect you from all storms, attacks and discouragement. I pray that the Lord will shower you in this time with his glory and blessings. Until our next chat, be blessed. ❤️

Your Tears of Sorrow are Reaping a Harvest of Joy!

“It was like a dream come true when you freed us from our bondage and brought us back to Zion! We laughed and laughed and overflowed with gladness. We were left shouting for joy and singing your praise. All the nations saw it and joined in, saying, “The Lord has done great miracles for them!” Yes, he did mighty miracles and we are overjoyed! Now, Lord, do it again! Restore us to our former glory! May streams of your refreshing flow over us until our dry hearts are drenched again. Those who sow their tears as seeds will reap a harvest with joyful shouts of glee. They may weep as they go out carrying their seed to sow, but they will return with joyful laughter and shouting with gladness as they bring back armloads of blessing and a harvest overflowing!”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭126:1-6‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Did you know that every time you cried due to suffering you were sowing seeds of tears that would reap you rewards of blessings? I can honestly say that this was new to me when I read it. I never realized that out of all of the things that I had been knowingly sowing into over the years, that my tears were also sowing seeds that would eventually allow me to bring in a harvest of joy and overflowing blessings. Glory to God for his kindness and goodness. Not even our tears go to waste, God uses everything for our good. So let’s chat about Your Tears Are Reaping a Harvest!

“We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love him. These are the people God chose, because that was his plan. Romans‬ ‭8:28‬ ‭ERV‬‬

I don’t know about you but Psalms‬ ‭126:1-6 has truly blessed me. To know that all of the struggles and the pain were not in vain. To know that my father loves me so much that he cares about what makes me cry. That is so endearing to me. It makes sense that God would take our tears into consideration. Anyone who has children knows how painful it is to hear and see your children cry. As parents we tend to try to immediately fix whatever is causing our children distress. It is the same way with God and us. The difference is that we are often going through a process of refinement when we are experiencing suffering, quite often God will not immediately remove what is afflicting us because he has a timing for everything. So what seems to be a season of sowing in tears, ultimately reaps us a harvest of joy in a new season. The word was already written ” those who sow their tears as seeds will reap a harvest with joyful shouts of glee” but we had to go through the process of sowing and reaping to get to the other side of the pain.

So now that we have cried and suffered how do we cross over into the blessings of God? We enter in rejoicing and thanking him for his kindness. We step forward in joyous faith knowing that we have endured and we have overcome! God is a faithful father and is he happy to help us succeed. After you have been down for extended periods of time, it can be difficult to make yourself get up again. To allow yourself to enjoy happiness again can be a challenge. After going through the process of cleansing and the stripping away of the old life, we must take hold of our new life with enthusiastic boldness.

“After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace [who imparts His blessing and favor], who called you to His own eternal glory in Christ, will Himself complete, confirm, strengthen, and establish you [making you what you ought to be]. To Him be dominion (power, authority, sovereignty) forever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter‬ ‭5:10-11‬ ‭AMP‬‬

The key is to remember who brought you from where you were to where you are going. We are not to forget God once we start receiving his promises and rewards. One season’s obedience will not carry us while we are in the new season. Meaning that we must remain obedient and faithful in each season.

““Therefore, you shall keep all the commandments which I am commanding you today, so that you may be strong and go in and take possession of the land which you are crossing over [the Jordan] to possess; so that you may live long on the land which the LORD swore (solemnly promised) to your fathers to give to them and to their descendants, a land [of great abundance,] flowing with milk and honey. For the land which you are entering to possess is not like the land of Egypt from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and watered it with your foot like a garden of vegetables. But the land into which you are about to cross to possess, a land of hills and valleys, drinks water from the rain of heaven, a land for which the LORD your God cares; the eyes of the LORD your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. “It shall come about, if you listen obediently and pay attention to My commandments which I command you today—to love the LORD your God and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul [your choices, your thoughts, your whole being]— that He will give the rain for your land in its season, the early [fall] rain and the late [spring] rain, so that you may gather in your grain and your new wine and your [olive] oil. And He will give grass in your fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied. Beware that your hearts are not deceived, and that you do not turn away [from the LORD ] and serve other gods and worship them, or [else] the LORD ’ S anger will be kindled and burn against you, and He will shut up the heavens so that there will be no rain and the land will not yield its fruit; and you will perish quickly from the good land which the LORD is giving you.” Deuteronomy‬ ‭11:8-17‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Let us be excited for what is manifesting in our lives in this new season. We have stepped into a new era full of blessings, rewards and promises. If there is anything that you need to confess and repent for, do it today. A simple prayer can change your whole life. If there is anyone who you need to ask for forgiveness from or need to forgive, do it today because tomorrow is not promised. Enjoy your new life and watch divine fruit take hold in your life.
